I said set because you buy the whole thing like wand, daggers, sword etc. Also you have your trusty bow (which I used a lot and I mean a lot) which you can use any time in between character's turns which means you can finish of an enemy after you attack and couldn't deal enough dmg or after your companion couldn't fnish an enemy or maybe you couldn't think quick enough and decided to kill that one healer who might heal his party.Įqıipment mechanic is simple. For example fireball spell deals kind of low dmg but it is free so you might want to open up with mage spells and then go with your attack or finisher therefore you won't lose any turn to get those spells back but if you use them late, then you won't be able to use them as much. Monster fighting is real time turn based so you have to think quick on your feet and calculate which skills you use and who you use them for because some of the skills are free-cast so you might want to use them to cycle them earlier on their cooldowns. And these challenges gets really hard and more fun (weird right?) as you progress. For example in ranged training you try to hit targets with your bow like you do in Nintendo Wii games while in defensive training you deflect incoming projectiles which are coming at you in 360 degree angle so you have to move your mouse to that position. There are 5 categories and each of them has their own mini-game series which puts your skills to test in real life. Although it might sound boring, the game's charm hook you in by hom fun the skill grinding is. You go to training area, grind some skills to hit hard and then you go beat monsters to earn money and with that you can upgrade your equipment and practice arena. If you enjoy flash games like Thing Thing which you can find in websties like Kongregate or Newgrounds then you definitely going to enjoy this one.Īt first glance, game looked like a semi-idle game.
